Avenger comes in two trims namely, Base coupe and ES coupe. Base comes with a 2.0 liter DOHC inline 4 cylinder engine with 16 variable valves, which realizes a horsepower of 140 hp @ 6000 rpm. ES coupe comes with a 2.5 liter SOHC V6 cylinder engine with 24 variable valves which is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The V6 engine offers a horsepower of 163 hp @ 5800 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 170 ft-lbs @ 4400 rpm.
Standard and Optional Features
The vehicle comes standard with bucket style front seats, fog lights, power brakes and 16 inch alloy wheels. To give a comfortable ride it is also equipped with cruise control, air conditioning, rear spoiler and power steering. There are many attractive optional features like leather seating, power windows, power driver’s seat and power moonroof.
